茶湯などを仏前に供える器。茶湯器（ちゃとうき）。
金虫仕上げとは、江戸時代の頃より刀の鞘塗りとして発展した変わり塗り技法のひとつです。
漆を塗った上にもみ殻を付着させ、乾燥後もみ殻を落し、独特の虫喰模様をつくります。
その後銀粉を蒔き、漆を塗り、丁寧に研ぎ出し磨き上げます。
※手作業で作成するため、商品によって大きさや見た目に若干の違いがでます。ご了承下さい。
