こちらの商品は書籍、日本の名レース100選 2になります。「全日本BIG2&4」 '83年全日本F2選手権開幕戦、カメラマン達はこの日優勝した中嶋悟がスタンド前を通過しても、2位のマシンを待ち構え、一斉に群がった。カーナンバー3から降り立ったのは、今回がF2デビュー戦の「高橋 徹」という名の青年であった。30歳以上のベテランがひしめき合う国内トップフォーミュラに22歳という途方もなく若く、そして速い新人が現われた瞬間であった。―7ヵ月後、富士GC最終戦。高橋 徹は2番手で飛び込んだ最終コーナーで宙に舞い、23歳で散った。しかし83年のトオルの好走は、決して幻ではない。
