松本次郎 JIRO MATSUMOTO
1970年東京都生まれ。1994年に投稿作 「little feat-リトル・フィート-」が講談社ちばてつや賞の準大賞を受賞。同年、モーニング(講談社)に掲載されデビューとなる。翌年、同誌に「ウェンディ」を連載。戯曲のピーターパンを下敷きに、犯罪や暴力が渦巻くネバーランドを描いた。以降は太田出版を中心に活動していたが、2001年に月刊IKKI(小学館)にて「フリージア」を連載開始。敵討ちが合法となった世界に生きる仕置人を描きヒット作に。2007年には映画化もされている。
