状態は御覧の通りまずまず綺麗です。破損や欠損は有りません。電気コードが多少の劣化でしょうか、堅くなって、曲がりにくくなってます。サイズ３４０×３４０高さ３５ミリです。<BR>
当時物と思われます、昭和２０年から、３０年頃。

－抜粋－参考文書、法隆寺≪金堂壁画の焼失≫<BR>
1949年（二四）1月28日朝。解体修理中の金堂から出火し、<BR>
別の場所に保管されていた部分の建材を残してそれ以外の柱と壁面に描かれていた壁画に大きな被害を及ぼしました。<BR>
他の建物に被害が出なかったのは不幸中の幸いでしたが、貴重な文化財の本来の優美な姿は永遠に喪われてしまいました。<BR>
失火の原因は諸説取り沙汰されていて、電気座布団であるとも言われましたが、真相は謎のままです。<BR>
高名な日本画家達の手による精緻な模写図も残されてはいますが、オリジナルは復元不能となり、世界に誇る宝物の一つは姿を消してしいました。
