鹿児島県指宿市の良質な水で栽培しているミニホテイアオイです。
通常のミニホテイより小さめサイズとなります。おおよそ1〜3センチ程です。写真に通常のミニホテイとの比較がありますのでご確認ください。成長すれば通常のミニホテイと同じ大きさになります。
指宿温泉で知られる良質な水を使い天然の池で栽培しております。めだかの産卵場所、隠れ家として最適です。

注意事項
通常冬になると枯れてしまうホテイアオイですが特殊な方法で枯れさせずに越冬させております。
ホテイアオイの根の色は
白色が生えたてで日光がやや不足している状態
紫色が白から日光を与えて成長している状態
黒色が日光栄養ともに充分な状態
以上になります。
栄養を与えると葉が緑色に綺麗になる→根が生えて成長していく順番です。出品しておりますホテイアオイは葉の色は問題ないですが根の色が黒い状態のものは昨年からの根が生えている事があります
稀に輸送の際に葉から去年の物の根が衝撃で抜ける場合がございます。抜けてしまっても白い根が生えている限りは日光と栄養を与えれば問題なく根は育っていくのでご了承ください。
適応水質
酸性～弱アルカリ性・軟水～弱硬水ですが、水質はあまり選びません。
ホテイアオイは日光不足と寒さには弱いです。日あたりには注意が必要です。
