みなさんと同じように本家の唄を聴きたくて購入しました。"And How"と"Skip 2 My U My Darling"。
当時「バクダット・カフェ」が出た時、なぜかホリーコールが歌うCalling Youばかりがネット上でヒットしていて、購入はしてみたものの「何か違う、この人じゃない感」がずっとあってそれっきり諦めていました。多分映画のイメージに大きく影響されていたからでしょうね。でも買ってよかったです。このアルバムにある他の曲も、1970〜1980年代のブラックコンテンポラリー風な、メロディアスで柔らかいバラードが続きます。BGMとして家で流していても、とても居心地がいい曲の数々。
