| ■商品説明 | アルフォンス マリア ミュシャ チェコ【1860-1939】19世紀末、ヨーロッパを中心に花開いた装飾美術の運動アール・ヌーボーを代表する芸術家ミュシャ。当時オーストリア帝国の下にあったモラヴィア(現チェコ)の小さな村に生まれたミュシャは画家への夢と自由を求め19歳で故郷を離れます。報われない時期を経て手掛けた舞台女優サラ・ベルナールの芝居のポスターで一躍時代の寵児となり、その後ポスターや商品広告、舞台衣装など美しく華麗なデザインを数多く手掛けました。後年には故郷へ戻り、オーストリア帝国崩壊後の新国家チェコスロバキア共和国の為に無償で紙幣や切手、国章などのデザインを手掛けます。ナチスの侵攻による国家解体の中で自身も捕らえられ祖国の解放を見る事無くその生涯を閉じますが、その華やかな作品世界は失われる事なく今日も輝き続けています。 |
