４サイズの溝があるため様々な厚さの革を磨くことができます。
コバの仕上がりが完成度や耐久性を大きく左右しますのでレザークラフトには必須アイテムです。
◎コーンスリッカー (細)
画像左側の棒状のものです。
通常のコーンスリッカーでは磨きにくい細かい部分や、ファスナー用の切り込み部分を磨きあげるのに使用します。特にファスナー周りの仕上げは通常太さではやりづらく、目につく部分でもあるため一本持っておくと非常に重宝します。
◎トコ磨きブロック
革の床面を磨く時にガラス板で擦る方が多いかと思いますが、すごく大変ですよね。
ガラス板と違い前後の動きだけでなく左右に使うこともできるので腕の負担を大幅に減らせます。
底面で広範囲を磨くこともできますし、ガラス板と同様に辺を使い線での作業も可能です。
握り込めるので力のコントロールも容易です。
また、接着面の圧着や銀面のグレージング的な使い方もありかもしれません。
