スカム度が高い演奏で、編成によりパンク、ヒップホップ、ノイズなど様々な顔をのぞかす雑食系サウンド。

ビックＥプロフィール
８０年代半ばより東京のインディ・シーンで活動を続け９３年に惜しくも解散した伝説のバンド、 ”ラッパーズ”の中心人物である江川真治は、９４年に新たなる自己のプロジェクト、 ”ビックＥ”として活動を始めた。 ビックＥのメンバーは常に流動的で、そのメンバーには、メルト・バナナ、ガジ、ハーピー、 オシツオサレツなどのメンバーも含まれる。 ビックＥのサウンドは、江川真治の独特な叫びに似た唱法と彼の詩によるところが大きいが、 周囲のミュージシャンによる、フリー・ミュージック又はハードロックに近い、 高度と稚拙の融合的演奏により支えられている。 ビックＥは、その活動の地味さにより一般的知名度は低いが、その存在は、 ジャド・フェアを越えているともいえるだろう。 実際彼らの音楽は決して万人受けするタイプとはいえないが、 一部のミュージシャンにはかなりの熱い支持を受けている。 又、江川の詩の世界は、聞き取りづらいが、かなり万人受けするものである。 ビックＥが企画する「ラブラブビックＥ」には、今までに、”マディ・フランケンシュタイン”、 ”マミー・ザ・ピープショウ”、”ＡＡＡ撲殺チェインソウ・ロボトミー”、 ”ビデカズ”、”メルト・バナナ”などが共演している。
