黄金期となる1989年までの野呂一生・櫻井哲夫・向谷実・神保彰の
メンバーでの最初のベスト盤となった一枚。
このアルバム用の野呂一生描き下ろしとなる
トロピカルなフュージョン・ダンサー"THE SOUNDGRAPHY"で幕を開け、
アルバム"MAKE UP CITY"のオープニングを飾った
哀愁のグルーヴィー・フュージョン"GYPSY WIND"、
プロデューサーにハーヴィー・メイソンを迎えた
アルバム"EYES OF THE MIND"から軽快なディスコ・フュージョン
"EYES OF THE MIND"等々、
初期の代表曲を網羅したお得なベスト盤。
