【実車解説】
2008年12月27日のダイヤ改正からミュースカイを除く全車特別車特急を廃止するという計画に基づき、全車特別車特急であった1600系の2両(特別車)と
新造された2300系4両(一般車)を組み合わせて一部特別車特急に改造、改番されたのが1700系です。
特別車側と一般車側で異なる前面形状、特別車モ1700の前面および、2300系全車両の種別・行先表示器がフルカラーLEDになっているのが特徴です。
6両編成4本が在籍し、2200系と共通運用で快速特急・特急を中心に使用されています。
ラッシュ時間帯は通勤車両3100系、3150系を2両増結した8両編成で運用されます。
【製品解説】
●製品は2014年現在の1701編成と1703編成をプロトタイプに製品化。
●第1・2編成と第3・4編成で異なるVVVFインバータ形状を再現。
●屋上には無線アンテナ、クーラー、ベンチレータ、ヒューズボックス、避雷器、車外スピーカーが別パーツで取付済。
●妻面貫通扉は車体に表現。
●台車は専用のSS164を装着。
●床下機器は既存の専用部品を使用。(名鉄1600系用4120A、名鉄2000系用R・S)
●車体側面にはMロゴマーク、Series1700のロゴ、号車表示、特別車、一般車表記が印刷済。
●他形式との連結は、増結車両セット側に付属するスイングドローバーを使用。(本製品にはホルダー付きスカートのみ付属)
●室内にはクロスシートパーツ(マルーン、パープル色)を装着済。(動力車を除く)
