ありがちなタイトルにいかにもというジャケット・デザイン。さぞかし，ウェッサ～イでゆる～いGファンクの世界が展開されるのかと思いきや，飛び出したのは何とも骨太で聞き応え満点のヴォーカル・アルバム。これは傑作である。
メロウなシタールの響きとダミ声に近いほどディープなヴォーカルの対比がビタースウィートな「Long Ways」で，いきなり強烈にアピール。以下，レイトナイト向けのメロウでブルージーな「Where Were You」，映画音楽のように劇的でシンフォニックなトラックが印象的な「Given’ It Up」，爽やかで夢見心地な「Satisfy」と一気に聴かせる。
「F*ck Song」は下劣なタイトルとは裏腹に，ピーヒャラ・シンセと美しいピアノの調べが郷愁を誘う極上のGファンク。「Woman Gotta Have It」はクラブ・サウンド風のジャジーでゆったりとスウィングし，「Mama’s Song」は物憂げなギターサウンドによるロッカバラード風のナンバー・・・と楽曲の幅も広い。その中でも個人的に強く印象に残ったのが「Ah Yeah」。ソウル・ファンなら垂涎の的のアクトワンをサンプリングした美しくもシリアスなトラックがブルージーで「孤高」を想起させる。
