1967年10月2日月曜日の深夜1:00からスタートしたニッポン放送の『糸居五郎のオールナイトニッポン』は“ノンストップ・ミュージック”をテーマに、トーク時間は少なめの音楽メインの深夜放送のパイオニアであった。1967年10月2日～1972年10月15日、1975年1月3日～1981年6月30日(2部)にかけて放送された。近年、当時の放送音源の一部が奇跡的に発見され、その糸居のDJ音源と黎明期(1967-1970)の洋楽ポップスで構成された深夜放送の洋楽から音楽に目覚めたエイジに強く訴求するコンピレーションをリリース。本作は第1弾。 (C)RS
