硬く耐久性に優れた紫檀を使用した女性用の念珠です。
紫檀は正倉院御物の唐木細工にも多く使われ、古くから珍重されてきました。
赤茶色の美しい木目が特徴の紫檀は、使い込むほどにしっくりと手に馴染んでいきます。
天然石とはまた違った表情のシックな艶めきが、上品な雰囲気を演出してくれます。
房は京都の伝統工芸である「京房ひも」の職人が製作した正絹頭付房を使用しております。
数珠袋とセットですので、個別に数珠袋をお買い求めいただく必要がなく、そのままお葬式や法事にお持ちいただけます。
また、仏事に使うことだけではなく、お守り代わりに普段から持ち歩くこともお勧めです。
