マルゴー革とは
イタリアのトスカーナ州ポンテ・ア・エゴラ地区にあるVirgilio Conceria Artigiana社が製造する、表面のスクラッチ加工が特徴のショルダー革です。
物性としては、植物タンニン鞣しで染料仕上げ、オイルがしっかり入った革なので、使い込むほどに味わい深い色に変化し、自然な艶が出て来る、経年変化（エイジング）を愉しんでいただける革です。
表面はスクラッチ加工によりざらついたタッチ感でマットな印象ですが、使い込むほどに通常の銀付き革以上の艶がでる、経年変化の振り幅が魅力の革です。
また、スクラッチ加工のムラも絶妙で、テクスチャーとしても魅力を感じる仕上がりとなっています。
