CD１枚 国内盤 FWCP41745 ・Keith Jarrett（キース・ジャレット）（p）・Charles Haden（チャーリー・ヘイデン）（b）・Paul Motian（ポール・モチアン）（ds） 年代のジャズを代表する作品だろう。83年と言えば、ボクはまだ高校生で、ジャズを聴き始めたばかり、右も左も分からない頃だったが、当時の雰囲気はよく覚えている。70年代のフュージョンはすでにBGMへと転落し、フリー・ジャズは凋落が始まっていたと思う。山下洋輔や坂田明はしばしばテレビに登場していたが、バブル経済に近づいていた日本ではメッセージ性の強いフリー・ジャズは敬遠されていたのかもしれない。フュージョンやフリー・ジャズだけでなく、全体としてジャズそのものが終焉を迎えたかのように考えられており、評論家相倉久人の著書のタイトルにあるように「ジャズは死んだか」と常に問われていたのだ。そのような時代にジャズの強靭な生命力を示したのが、ウィントン・マルサリスの『カルテット』とキース・ジャレットのように思う。内容は写真参照ください。中古ですので小さな汚れあります。Similar Category Items
