高知土佐でも屈指の腕を持つ鎌鍛冶が、精魂込めて鍛造火造りした『極上』の「両刃薄鎌」です。
決して妥協を許さない高精度の熟練技が生み出した『こだわりのほんまもん』
凸凹のない刃身、真っ直ぐに美しい円弧を描く刃先、そしてハガネが均一に出た鋭い刃付けとすべてが細心のこころくばりにて丁寧に作られた逸品です。
実際に手にすると上質な刃物特有の品格と美しさはもちろん、わが子を鍛え育てるが如く注ぎ込まれた愛情とぬくもりが感じられます。
抜群の鋭い切れ味が長く続く『本物の道具』
ハガネは硬く粘り強く、切れ味鋭い、青紙鋼を使用。
1丁1丁、炉にて赤めた軟鉄（地金）を二つに割り、ハガネ（安来青紙鋼）をはさみ込み、手際良くハンマーにて叩き伸ばし火造りしています。
複合材（地鉄とハガネとを工場にて圧延ロールで接合させた鋼材）ではありません。
ハンマーで幾度も叩き伸ばし火造りされた鎌は不純物が抜け組織が細分化され粘りのある硬度の高いハガネが出来上がります。
熱処理をはじめすべての工程において長年の経験と熟練された技が生きています。
