真鍮製のガーディアンベル2個セットです。とてもおしゃれな逸品です。
ふると鈴の音が鳴ります。
ガーディアンベルとは？
アメリカのバイカーの間では，道路にはevil road spinitsと呼ばれる道路の悪魔がいるという伝説があり，その悪魔が事故を起こさせたり，バイクを故障させると考えられています。
そこでこのガーディアンベルを身に付けることによって道路の悪魔をベルの中に閉じ込め，ベルの音色で悪魔を道路に落として事故などから身を守る効果があります。
そのため，ガーディアンベルはできるだけ地面に近い場所に取り付け，イタズラする隙を与えないようにします。
バイクに取り付ける場所はエンジンの下やスイングアームに取り付ける人が多いみたいです。
また、身に着ける場合、ペンダントトップとして、またベルトにカラビナやキーフック・キーリングなどをつけてキーホルダーとして装着したり、バッグ等にも取り付けることができるので便利です。
メッキ処理されていない真鍮無垢になります。
真鍮(brass)という素材は、経年変化により少しずつ深い色合いになり、独特の味わいが出て、馴染んでいく素材。
最初はピカピカだったものが徐々にくすんでいき、多く触れる部位だけが艶やかに光る。
シルバーのように経年変化が楽しめる素材です。
また、好みにもよるが、磨き液などを使用すれば輝きをもどすことも可能。
