イタリアのシューズブランド「MECAP」のスニーカーです。
MECAPは1970年にスタートしたイタリアのシューズブランドです。「Mecap libera tutti」をコンセプトとし、Made in Italyを維持しつつも非常に低価格なストリートシューズを展開し若い世代層を中心に流行したブランドでした。1980年代に投資失敗により会社が倒産、市場から姿を消したブランドでしたが、2014年、当時のデザイナーが探し出され製品が復刻、30年の時を経て現代に甦ったブランドです。
現代においてもMecapの特徴であったMade in Italyと低価格は維持しており、イタリア製・本革仕立てのスニーカーとしては非常にお求めやすい価格対で製品展開を行っています。
