９０年代中期に結成された日本のテクニカルハードジャズロック最前線、ＦＲＡＧＩＬＥの２００３年発となる通算６作目。編成はこの後もテクニカルジャズロック路線を堅持しながらモダンジャズ色を強めていくFAZJAZ.jpを結成する矢堀孝一（ギター）、元ブラックペイジで、パラドクス、ウインズにも参加して多くの名盤を残していく菅沼孝三（ドラムス）、ポンタボックス、ダブラーズ、ポートフォリオなどでも知られる水野正敏（ベース）のトリオ編成。テクニックに関してはおおよそ文句無しの最上級でありながら、そんなのどうでもよろしいとばかりにズレては歪みの爆音を放ち、７０年代ロックの本質を開陳するかのような自由度が世界のテクニカル系をも突き放しにかかる恐るべきポテンシャル。マイクスターンがエクストリーム級モダンヘヴィネス化したようなギター、音域の広いフレーズを動き回りながら挑発を仕掛けていくベース、千手観音状態のドラムスが三つ巴のバトルロイヤル状態へと陥るこのバンド屈指の１枚がこちら。FRAGILE-斬(gardenian)
