これぞ80年代ブラコンの金字塔！70年代からスタジオ・セッションで引っ張りだこだったルーサー・ヴァンドロスが、満を持して本作でデビュー。軽快なメロディーと洗練されたビートがあいまったタイトル曲はR&BチャートNo.1を獲得。ディスコのダンスフロアでは、ベースとドラムが引っ張るヘヴィー級のファンク「シーズ・ア・スーパー・レディー」が大人気に。L・ヴァンドロスはシンガーだけでなくプロデューサーとしてもこれ以後のR&Bシーンをリードした。（1981年発表）
