水元さとみ(安田成美)は、夫の耕一(別所哲也)と名古屋でひつまぶし屋を営みながら、2人の娘と家族4人で幸せに暮らしている。
さとみは元フィギュアスケート選手で、耕一は元甲子園球児。
スポーツの素晴らしい面も残酷な面も知り尽くしている元アスリート同士の夫婦。娘の葉子(小芝風花)は、
フィギュアスケートの有望選手で、竹井コーチ(かたせ梨乃)の指導の下、練習に励んでいる。
妹の紗綾(本田望結)にとって姉の葉子は憧れの存在。
さとみは、自分の叶え られなかった夢を葉子に託すが、ある日突然、その夢は絶たれる。
さとみが自責の念にかられる中、紗綾がスケートを始める。葉子に手を引かれながら、氷の上を歩く紗綾。
