商品解説■ポエニ戦争は前3～前2世紀にかけて、共和政ローマとカルタゴとの間で地中海の覇権をめぐって争われた一連の戦争です。
ポエニとはラテン語でフェニキア人（カルタゴはフェニキア人の植民都市国家）を意味し、ローマ人がカルタゴ人のことをそう呼んだことに因みます。
紀元前264年のローマ軍によるシチリア島上陸から、紀元前146年のカルタゴ滅亡まで3度にわたり戦争が繰り広げられました。
この戦争に勝利したローマは西地中海の制海権と多くの属州を獲得したものの、戦争の長期化や属州からの奴隷と安価な穀物の流入により共和政の維持が困難となるなど、帝政に移行する契機となりました。
それぞれのポーズのフィギュアが各3体ずつ入っています
