28歳だが、知能は6歳児並みという知的障がい者の白鳥咲人(山下智久)は、 少年刑務所に入っていたなど“訳アリ”な若者が集まる花の配送センター「ドリームフラワーサービス」で働いていた。 ある日、咲人は同僚の柳川隆一(窪田正孝)と軽トラに乗り、望月遥香(栗山千明)の住むマンションにバラの花束を届けに行く。 遥香は配達人の咲人が精神遅滞者であることを知らないため、咲人の対応に驚き、警察を呼ぼうとしてしまう。慌てて駆けつけた柳川が事情を説明し、 その場は収まりそうになるのだが、玄関の飾り棚にあるアクセサリースタンドのキラキラ光るイヤリングに惹きつけられた咲人は手を伸ばし、もうひと騒動起こしてしまう。 届け物もろくにできない咲人だったが、純粋で心の優しい彼の夢は、ママが好きになってくれる“お利口さん”になることだった。
