50年以上前の絣着物のハギレです。模様の正式名称などは不明ですが味がある柄です。
ハンドメイドやリメイクにいかがでしょうか？
絣は、藍染めの一種で、糸を染める前にろうで防染する技法です。この技法によって、生地に独特の縞模様が生まれます。絣は丈夫で長持ちする生地で、古くから着物や帯などに使われてきました。
このハギレは、50年以上前に作られたものですが
経年による使用感もあります。
しかし、生地の状態は普通にリメイクしていただけます。
絣は丈夫で長持ちする生地で着物として使えなくなると、布団や枕、雑巾などにリサイクルされて無駄なくつかわれていたとききます。
