西日本鉄道㈱の子会社で、西鉄バスはもちろん日本全国の新車バスを生産し、「西工」の愛称で呼ばれた西日本車体工業㈱の社員が、背広(スーツ)の襟に着けるために貸与された襟章です。2010年にUDのバス事業撤退に伴い、惜しまれながらも会社解散となりましたので、非常に懐かしく希少な物のだと思います。
新品の未使用品でプラスチックのケース入りですが、少なくても15年以上昔の物ですから、汚れなどがあります。
