昭和60年の東京。マンションの一室で放火殺人が発生する。/逮捕された池松律子(松本まりか)と、死亡した小説家の君塚公平(松下洸平)は幼なじみだった。/律子は事件を担当する検事・津田口(柿澤勇人)の取り調べを、どこか浮遊しているような態度でするりとかわしていく。/津田口は事件の真相を追って、これまでに律子と関わってきた人物たちと接触し始める。/次第に明らかになってくる律子の数奇な人生と、彼女を取り巻く男たちの姿。しかし、彼らが口々に証言する律子の印象は、すべてがバラバラであった。/津田口は事件を深追いするほどに、徐々に律子という人物そのものに傾倒していく。/やがて津田口は、律子と公平が幼少期を過ごした昭和30年代の青森・津軽に、この殺人事件の真相を解く鍵があるとにらみ始める。
