浦安市に住む永江開は将来を有望視されているバイオリニストの卵。しかし、一向に音楽に集中出来ずにいた。理由は家族である。永江家は、父・直樹がピアノ、母・ひろみがチェロ、そして姉・美咲はフルートを演奏する音楽一家…だった。しかし、両親は生活のために音楽を諦め、美咲は弟へのコンプレックスでドロップアウト気味。更に直樹が会社をリストラされたことで、家族は崩壊寸前だった。ある日、開は、埃をかぶったピアノの前で、昔の家族写真をじっと見つめる直樹の姿を目にする。笑い声が絶えなかったあの頃に戻りたいと思っているんだ…。父の寂しそうな姿を見て、開は決心をする。今は家族が一つになることこそが対瀬ゥt。それには、もう一度皆で演奏するしかない！果たして、家族は再びカルテットを組むことが出来るのだろうか？
