◆稀少雑誌『日本大家論集』第２巻・第１０号「医学博士橋本綱常先生肖像＆小伝」、博文館、明治２３年１０月、菊判、全１５０頁、一冊．
◆博文館発行した明治時代の総合雑誌『日本大家論集』の一冊．越前国福井藩の出身で、幕末に藩主の松平春嶽に見出されて志士として活躍した橋本左内の実弟として藩の医師としての橋本家を継承し、陸軍軍医総監に進み、陸軍省の医務局長を務める一方、東京大学（のちの東京帝国大学）医科大学教授や日本赤十字社病院の初代院長を務めた橋本綱常の肖像石版画や伝記を載録．本文は他に、漢学者の重野安繹・三島中洲・島田重礼をはじめ、小中村清矩・加藤弘之・楠本正隆・金子堅太郎、法学者の磯部四郎らが寄稿．橋本綱常の生涯を中心とする西洋医学の日本への移入の歴史をたどる貴重な文献．
