素材は土粘土で素焼きし彩色したものです。
ネコちゃんはどこでもスッポリ入り込むのが大好き。赤いくつに入り込んでまったりリラックスのほっこりネコちゃんです。

子猫ちゃん、くつに入り込んでとってもうれしそうです♪
この作品は、普段は博多人形工房をされている作家さんがつくられたものです。伝統工芸である博多人形を制作する一方、この猫ちゃんのように伝統にとらわれない独自の作品も追及していらっしゃいます。
こちらの猫ちゃんも、博多人形のように土粘土をつかった素焼きで制作されています。
手仕事で丁寧につくられた猫ちゃん。お顔やおててはふっくら。毛並みはケガキで細やかに表現されていて、子猫ちゃんならではのふんわりした感じがイキイキと伝わってきます。豊かな造形、自然でありながらも細やかな彩色・・伝統にも根差した確かな技術と感性から創出される作品は、やはり目を惹きつける存在感と魅力にあふれています。
※お手入れの際は、ぬれた布などでは拭かないようにしてください。ほこりは刷毛などで軽く撫でるようにはらっていただくといいと思います。取り扱いの際、素手ではなく布や紙などをあてて触るようにすると綺麗さが守られると思います。
