2014年にカナダはヴァンクーヴァーでスタートし、地元カナダの精鋭をはじめとした面々が良質なリリースを重ねてきた[Pacific Rhythm]。その最新作は、昨年自身の[Dream Machine]から放った"Dream 3"がヒットとなったオランダはアムステルダムの注目株、Kennedyによる12インチ。清らかで広がりのあるシンセを軸にアトモスフェリックでドリーミーなディープ・ハウスを展開していった"Asleep"だけですでに'買い'と言いたい最高の出来栄えですが、さらにA-2にはSpace Ghostによるリミックスも収録。ハウス路線かと思いきや、その浮遊感を活かしつつ清涼感溢れるバレアリックなダウンテンポ・トラックに仕立てた意表を突く仕事振りでこちらも最高です。もちろんB面の2曲も要チェック。
