池袋署刑事課強行犯係所属に異動してきた神崎隆一（山田涼介）。
そこには、警察学校の同期の黒木賢司（田中圭）がいた。
真面目な優等生の神崎と、チャラチャラしている黒木。
水と油のような二人だったが、なぜか馬が合い、警察学校卒業後も連絡を取り合っていた。
猿の捜索、泥酔した警察官の失態、幽霊騒動を解決し、二人はバディとしての絆を深めていく。
あるとき、神崎はふと思う。
なぜ黒木はいつも自分の力になってくれるのだろう？
