奈良市の春日大社で崇敬者に配布された銘々皿／絵馬の未使用品です。
胡ろく（竹かんむり＋録）とは矢を入れて背に負うもので、当社のこの胡ろくはもとは若宮神殿内におさめられていた御神宝の一つです。その裏の紫檀（したん）の板に、細工した貝をはめ込む螺鈿（らでん）の手法をもって、蝶・宝相華・“おうむ”等を描いた極めて精巧優美なもので、墨書で「大治六年」（1131年）の銘文が見られます。
サイズは9.8cm（縦）×15cm（横）。長らく保管しておいた物なので、箱等にシミがありますが、ご了承下さい。
