■『復興記念横濱大博覧會』繪葉書16枚揃外嚢入り。■大正12年の関東大震災で首都圏が壊滅的な被害を蒙った中で、見事
復興を遂げた横濱市が産業貿易の現況を供覧する為、山下公園で大々
的なExhibitionを開催。色々趣向を凝らしたPavilionを逐次建設、今時
の博覧会同様、多数の人々で賑わった様です。開催は昭和10年3/26～
5/24迄。詳しくはWikipediaを御検索下さい。昭和天皇からは「浮かれ
過ぎて余りドンチャン騒ぎには為らぬ」様にと釘を刺されたとか…。
尚、北原照久氏のCommentも面白いです。鯨まで侍らかして居た様で
すね。実際の繪葉書から往時を偲んでみて下さい。IndianやCowboyの
御一行も招致。古の横濱港の景色に加え空には複葉機が飛んでます。
■因みに山下公園は復興記念横濱大博覧會開催の5年前に、当時横濱市
の助役だった楢岡徹氏の発案で、関東大震災で被災した街の瓦礫を集め
現在の場所に埋め立て整地して公園に成った次第です。
●今から87年前の発行です。紙質経年劣化で外嚢は痛み・撚れ・小皺
・薄汚れが有ります。
●繪葉書各葉に復興記念横濱大博覧會の紫色丸Stampが捺されてます。
●繪葉書裏面は白無垢で書き込み等有りません。経年感は有ります。
●古物に不慣れな方、殊更神経過敏な方には不向きです。回避為さる
のが賢明かと思われます。爾後のClaimは何卒御容赦下さい。
