- 刃先のラインが曲線の形状をしたレザークラフト用のナイフで、押し切って使用します。
- ラウンド状の刃先の為特殊な使い方をしますが、切断やが革漉き等での自由度の高さを感じる事が出来ます。
- 基本的な持ち方は手の腹にナイフのグリップ先端を当て指でナイフの手元を押さえる形となります。
- 切り方によって持ち方も変わります。
- 先ずは練習として直線のカットを行ってみて下さい。
- ①刃先を使って押し切る、
- ②回しながら切る。次に曲線のカット、応用として革漉き等とハギレ等を使ってからの方が良いです。
- 刃の形状が曲線の為、慣れるまでは時間が掛かるかと思いますが定期的な研磨が必要です。
- 怪我など十分にご注意ください。
