| あらすじ | 長年連れ添った妻と離婚し、年頃の娘と２人暮らしの営業マン、遠間憲太郎。50歳を過ぎ人生に疲れた彼に、思いがけない３つの転機が訪れる。ひとつは、ひょんなことから取引先の社長・富樫に“親友になってくれ”と頼まれ、戸惑いつつも仕事抜きの付き合いが始まったこと。もうひとつは、独りで陶器店を切り盛りする女主人・篠原貴志子と出会い、淡い恋心が芽生えたこと。そして３つめは、娘の弥生が母親に虐待されていた４歳の少年・圭輔を連れ帰り、しばらく家で面倒を見るようになったこと。すっかり心を閉ざしてしまい口もきけない圭輔だったが、遠間たちとの触れあいを通じて少しずつ変化を見せ始めていく。やがて圭輔の将来を案じるようになった遠間は、彼を連れて世界最後の桃源郷と呼ばれるパキスタンのフンザへと向かう。そしてその旅には、富樫と貴志子も同行するのだが…。 |
