－デビュー盤はゴルトベルクで、最後もゴルトベルクというグールド。才気迸る55年デビュー盤と、深みが加わった81年最後の録音の聞き比べには興味が尽きないところですが、この1981年盤も決して枯れた演奏ではなく、超絶的なテクニックを駆使し、ダイナミックで、各変奏の描き分けが鮮烈。しかしアリアは遅くて静か。特に最後のアリアはグールドの人生の終わりと重なり、いつ聞いても胸がいっぱいになってしまいます。
