EF510は、省電力で高出力の新世代機関車として平成14年(2002)に誕生しました。
0番台は赤い車体に「REDTHUNDER」のロゴを側面に配した姿が特徴です。
EF510 500JR貨物(青)は寝台特急「北斗星」「カシオペア」などを牽引した元旅客用機関車で、JR貨物転籍後は流星の装飾が外され、0番台とともに長大な貨物列車を牽引して日本海縦貫線を中心に活躍しています。
今回の製品は再生産になります。
今回製品より動力ユニットにスロットレスモーターを採用し、よりスムースかつ静粛な走行性能をお楽しみいただけます。
それに伴い品番・価格・JANコードが変更になります。
またEF510 500JR貨物色は品名、信号炎管の色が青色に変更となります。
