飯縄大権現は狐に乗り、右手に剣、
左手に縄、背に翼を持つ不動明王の化身
戦勝の神として武将たちの間で信仰され
上杉謙信は兜の前立てに飯縄大権現像を
武田信玄も甲州に勧請、持仏としていた
「飯縄法」は神通力が得られるとされる
飯縄大権現をあらわす種字「カーン」
梵字は古代インド(天竺)の文字で、
吉祥文字と言われている。
単に仏を表わす字ではなく、
梵字そのものがそのまま仏である。
