名手ビリー・チャイルズが1993年にウインダムヒルレコードに残した「Portrait of Player」はMOONKSレア本にも掲載され人気を博しました(写真6)。その後、ビリー・チャイルズは16回もグラミー賞にノミネートされ5回も受賞しています。そのビリー・チャイルズが2000年に32JAZZに録音したハービー・ハンコック集が本盤です。Maiden Voyage、Dolphin Dance、Speak Like A Childなどハンコックの聴き馴染んだ曲をチャイルズが独自の解釈で最高のプレイを繰り広げます。ベースはジョージ・ムラーツ、ドラムはビリー・ハートという最高のリズム陣。写真を見ていただければわかりますが、特殊ジャケット(アルバムの表紙と裏をケースに貼り付けた形)です。綺麗なジャケットは少ない上、廃盤です。オリジナルの形でリイシューはまず無理だと思われます。お持ちでない方は、見つけたら即、買いのアルバムだと思います。子供ジャケットに駄盤なしです。大推薦盤。盤面、ライナー、ジャケット共に良好の美品です。Similar Category Items
