新右翼の鈴木邦男と突破者宮崎学の対談集である。右翼とヤクザの論客が天皇制、転向、正義、歴史について語り合う。大いに期待して読み始めたがどうも鈴木の分が悪い。鈴木がポジティブに語ると宮崎が論旨をネガティブにずらしながら答え、鈴木の言表の効果を弱める。鈴木はロマンチストである。宮崎は徹底的なリアリストである。その差がこの対談を宮崎の一人勝ちにした原因のように思う。両者に共通しているのは国家権力への不信と反抗心である。そのエネルギーにはただ、敬服した。鈴木の第二ラウンドに期待したい。
