キャリアは不明ながら、いぶし銀の如く深い味わいを湛えたソウルフルなリード＆コーラスからして
年季の入ったベテラン達であることは疑いようもなく、どこかのソウル・グループの残党だろうか？
などと妄想が膨らむが、正体は謎に包まれたまま。さて、そんな本作はトラディショナル・ゴスペル
にスウィート・ソウル／ファンクのエッセンスをブレンドした時代錯誤感たっぷりの上質楽曲満載で
そんじょそこらの親父ゴスペル作品とはひと味もふた味も違う魅力を感じさせる。往年のスウィート
・ソウル・フリークにも十二分にアピールできるであろう、まさに知る人ぞ知る甘茶ゴスペルの傑作。
