前作『黄昏』LA録音に続いての
海外ニューヨークレコーディング作品。
デイヴィッド・サンボーンがサックス・ソロを披露しているほか、
ニューヨークのミュージシャンたちが都会的な
サウンドを聴かせてくれる1983年作。
和ブギー本でもレコメンドされた
NYファンク・チューン「DANCIN'」、
メロウ・ミッド「IN YOUR LOVIN'」など収録。
「Dancin'」同様「TR-808」がイイ感じの
アーバン・ファンク「Sensual Night」、
メロウ・ミッド「Sugao No Mamade」など、
英詩、日本語詞も巧みに歌いこなした、
粒揃いの楽曲で構成された
和モノ・アーバン・ファンク大傑作！
プロデュースは夫でもあるパートナー「佐藤健」に
何と名ジャズ・ベーシスト「中村照夫」！
その中村人脈である「John Tropea」 、
「Anthony Jackson」、「Michael Urbanic」 、
「Jorge Dalto 」などNY 精鋭陣の客演も見所。
再発も出ていますが、
こちらは100％完全オリジナルの原盤です
