映画公式ヴィジュアルやポスターアートの他、鈴木敏夫・スタジオジブリ代表取締役議長と懇意のタイ人アーティストであるカンヤダ・プラテン（Kanyada Phatan）作のイラストを柄に採用。
パッと見は、『Porco Rosso（紅の豚）』（1992年）モチーフ。
第一次世界大戦と第二次世界大戦との戦間期が舞台であるためか、総監督を務めた宮崎駿・スタジオジブリ取締役名誉会長の女性観なのか、現代ではセリフ修正必須のジェンダーバイアスが垣間見られ、今もなおテレビ放映の度に燃え上がる。
このTシャツの名称は「Everything Ghibli!」。
カンヤダ・プラテンが描いたスタジオジブリの人気キャラが大結集している。
