総トン数３５００ｔ 尖閣諸島近海をはじめとした領海警備と大規模災害派遣の両方に対応可能だ。全長は約100ｍ 海上保安庁の巡視船・巡視艇は配属先で多く船名が変更されるのでちょっとややこしい。
