成田昭次(ex. 男闘呼組)による13年ぶりとなるオリジナル作品。先日行われた、ビルボードライブ横浜、大阪の公演名でもある、『犬も歩けば棒に当たる』というタイトルのミニアルバム。既に配信されている「パズル」は寺岡呼人が作詞・作曲した、今の成田昭次をイメージして作成したキラーチューン。他の楽曲も、バラードからヘヴィーロックまで、作曲家の荒木真樹彦が手掛けたナンバー。歌詞については、成田本人が今の自身の想いを作詞しており、同世代は勿論、今の日本社会に投げかける、グッとくる楽曲の数々が収録されている。今後の活動の礎になる、名盤がここに誕生。 (C)RS
