今回は本流向きのヒゲナガをラーバを意識したマラブーを用意しました。
ウエイト入りでスイングを中心にリトリーブで誘うこともできます。背面のピーコックと後方のマラブーがゆらゆら動き、活性の低いトラウトを引き付ける仕上がりとなっています。
昨年１２月２６日、本流にて試釣しました。
釣り始めてすぐに他のフライで２回アタリがきましたが掛からず。少し休ませて再度別なフライでも２回アタリますがやはり掛からず。当フライに替えてスイングを終えて１～２回引いたところで、今度はしっかり掛かったのは４６ｃｍのニジマスでした。
