【著者略歴】
三好一光（みよし・いっこう）
本名・三好次郎。
明治41年2月11日、東京府東京市牛込区生まれ。
戦前は雑誌『舞台』の編集に従事しながら劇作家として活躍し、「片時雨」や「誓」などの戯曲を発表。
代表作「幸福の夢」は昭和13年に「愛しき面影」と改題して日活で映画化された。
昭和17年、五幕物の台本「千利休」が歌舞伎検討委員会主催の第一回歌舞伎脚本募集に佳作入選。
岡本綺堂に師事し、戦後は時代小説や捕物帳を執筆するようになり、『清吉捕物帖 絵草紙の女』（同光社）や『艶筆東海道四谷怪談』（文芸評論社）等を上梓。
編書に江戸風俗や江戸語を解説した『江戸東京風俗語事典』、『江戸東京生業物価事典』、『江戸語事典』（いずれも青蛙房）がある。
平成2年2月没、享年82。
