Champion（チャンピオン）のスウェットシャツは、「ザ キング オブ スウェットシャツ」と評されるほど、世界中の多くのファンに愛されてきました。チャンピオンを代表する製法の「REVERSE WEAVE （リバースウィーブ）」。USAコットンの持つざっくりとした風合いと肉厚な生地、しっかり起毛された裏地が特長のアメリカ製モデル「12.5oz.（12.5オンス）」シリーズのクルーネックスウェットシャツです。本来は縦方向に使われる生地を横方向に使用する「REVERSE WEAVE」製法によって縦の生地の縮みを防ぐと同時に、両脇に「EXPANSION GUSSET（エクスパンションガゼット）」を付けることで横の縮みへの影響を少なくし、動きやすさに配慮しています。1970年代モデルに使用していた通称「赤単タグ（赤単色タグ）」と呼ばれる襟ネームを採用。前身頃にアメリカ・ウェストコースト4州の州名をカレッジテイストのグラフィックで表現しています。
「CALIFORNIA（カリフォルニア）」は染み込みプリントにより、古着のような白茶けた雰囲気を再現しています。
