バラ科バラ属
落葉低木
【商品説明】
ハマナスは落葉低木です。潮風に強く北海道と東北に多く自生し、南は茨城、島根付近まで分布しています。刺が多く鋭いとめ扱う場合は注意が必要です。秋には2ｃｍほどの赤い果実が実ります。これは食べることができジャムや果実酒などに利用されます。
【育て方】
日当たりの良い場所を好み、土壌は排水のよい砂質土かさらさらした土壌が良いです。 耐寒性は非常に強いですが夏の高温多湿を苦手としますので風通しのよい場所に植えます。剪定は秋から冬に行います。刈り込むことによって花着きもよくなります。
